Policies

Our salon requires a minimum of 48 hours notice for cancellations.
Appointments cancelled within less than 48 hours are subject to be charged 50% of the scheduled service cost.
Appointments cancelled within less than 24 hours, same day, or “no call no shows” are subject to be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
We do send out a confirmation/reminder text message and email 4 days before your scheduled service and an email the day you booked the appointment.

If you are running late to your appointment, please call the salon or reach out to your stylist directly.
If you arrive 15+ minutes after your scheduled service time, you are subject to forfeit your service and pay our same day cancellation fee or offered a different service upon the stylists discretion.

Consultations are required by each stylist before booking your first appointment. During the consultation your stylist will go over your hair needs, pricing, timing, expectations, and more*.
Some stylists may accept consults directly. Please call (309) 713-1448 to see which stylists are available.

* It is our priority to conduct a thorough consultation for our services provided, however, it is each clients responsibility to be honest about their hair history and/or health conditions.

All appointments, regardless of the type of service, require a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit to be paid at the time of booking. This deposit ensures your commitment to the scheduled appointment.
If any changes need to be made to your original booking, a new deposit must be paid to secure the new appointment.

Our salon does not offer refunds of any kind (or upon stylists discretion.)
We offer the best quality services and stylists here at Salon 5th Avenue! Client redos will only be honored within 1 week of the original scheduled service. After 1 week you are subject to pay full cost for another appointment.
If you wish to see a different stylist, that future appointment is subject to be full price at their pricing.
If the hair is altered by another salon/yourself our redo policy will be voided.
